FAQ
Using the calculator
How do I choose pixel pitch from viewing distance?
A simple rule: the closest comfortable viewing distance in metres is about the pixel pitch in millimetres. P3.9 looks smooth from about 4 m, P1.25 from about 1.3 m. Viewers further away see an even smoother image.
Is the calculator result a quotation?
No. It gives a first layout using our standard cabinet sizes. Send the result on WhatsApp and an engineer confirms the exact configuration, power, control system and price.
Why is the final size different from what I entered?
LED screens are built from whole cabinets or panels, so the calculator rounds your size to what can be built. Custom cabinet sizes are possible for most product lines.
How is the size of a transparent LED screen worked out?
The Mesh PCB Transparent LED Display is built from panels 250 mm wide that join side by side to any length, so the width is a multiple of 0.25 m: for 2.6 m of glass the screen is 2.5 m wide. Standard panel heights are 1.0 m, 1.2 m and 1.5 m. Other heights are cut at our factory from the next panel up, for example a 1.2 m panel cut to 1.1 m. Taller screens join panels top to bottom, for example 1.5 m + 1.2 m for a 2.7 m high screen.
